ARGAN OIL
Known as “liquid gold”, argan oil is considered to be the holy grail of skin care oils—it is rich in vitamins A and E, plant sterols, antioxidants, linoleic acid and omega-6 fatty acids; it absorbs quickly and does not clog pores. Fatty acids aid in reducing skin inflammation and redness, eliminating acne-causing bacteria, and rebalancing sebum production to prevent breakouts. Applied topically, argan oil can help boost cell production—the ability to repair skin damage, including acne scarring and dry skin, is its most powerful feature. Argan oil gives skin a youthful glow and reduces the visibility of wrinkles. It restores elasticity and leaves skin feeling plumper and softer. Argan oil has comedogenic rating of 0, meaning that it is noncomedogenic (will not clog pores).
CARROT SEED OIL
Health benefits of carrot seed oil can be attributed to its properties as an antiseptic, disinfectant, detoxifier, antioxidant, and an anticarcinogenic. It exhibits strong protection against free radicals that cause oxidative stress and cell damage, thus helping you retain your youth. Carrot seed oil tones the skin and prevents it from hanging loose or showing signs of aging. It has a natural SPF of between 38 and 40.
SHEA BUTTER
The concentration of natural vitamins and fatty acids in shea butter makes it incredibly nourishing and moisturizing. Shea butter aids in the skin’s natural collagen production. It contains oleic, stearic, palmitic, and linolenic acids that protect and nourish the skin to prevent drying. Shea butter has comedogenic rating of 0-2, meaning that it is between noncomedogenic (will not clog pores) and moderately low likelihood of clogging pores.
BEESWAX
Used in skin products, beeswax creates a barrier which helps to seal moisture into the skin, at the same time allowing it to breath and protecting from environmental toxins and irritants. Naturally contains vitamin A, which improves hydration to the skin and promotes cell regeneration.
VITAMIN E
Vitamin E is an extremely powerful antioxidant. It has moisturizing and healing benefits, and helps to strengthen skin barrier function. Vitamin E is a natural anti-inflammatory, so it soothes and calms irritated skin.
