COCONUT OIL

Coconut oil is rich in fatty acids and antioxidants that help prevent aging and damage to the skin. It is the most abundant source of lauric acid, a fatty acid known for its antimicrobial and moisturizing properties. Aside from its anti-aging and skin-healing abilities, it promotes the production of collagen. Naturally rich in vitamin E, it protects the skin from sun damage.

 

CASTOR OIL

Using castor oil for hair growth dates all the way back to the ancient Egypt. Castor oil is particularly effective in promoting thicker, stronger, longer and darker hair. It has been scientifically proven that ricinoleic acid, a chemical compound that makes up almost 90 percent of castor oil, helps to reverse hair loss. Ricinoleic acid stimulates blood circulation, assisting in nutrients and oxygen delivery to hair follicles, which promotes growth. Ricinoleic acid can penetrate hair follicles and moisturize them from the inside. This fatty acid is also known to have anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties that promote good hair health. Castor oil is easily absorbed into the hair shaft, locks in nutrients and moisture, increasing flexibility and decreasing the chance of breakage. Applying castor oil can help to regenerate dry brittle hair damaged from everyday cosmetics or extensions.

 

SODIUM HYDROXIDE

Making soap requires sodium hydroxide (lye), water, and oil to start the chemical process of saponification. While a fair amount of lye may be used to create the shampoo bar, a properly finished product doesn’t contain sodium hydroxide anymore.

 

CEDARWOOD ESSENTIAL OIL

Cedarwood essential oil contains a wide range of bioactive ingredients, making it a one-stop shop for all hair issues. It offers antimicrobial and antifungal properties, preventing hair infections. When applied to scalp and hair, cedarwood essential oil enhances scalp health, increases shine, and reduces dandruff, treats scalp eczema, and encourages hair growth. Its ability to prevent hair loss is due to the presence of sesquiterpenes, a chemical that promotes oxygen delivery, enhancing circulation and blood flow to hair follicles. Cedarwood oil has been shown to induce relaxation and soothe the nervous system, which prevents stress-related hair loss, as neurotransmitters in the body interact with hair follicles under stress. It stimulates new hair growth in areas experiencing hair loss thanks to the growth-promoting activity of cedrol, one of sesquiterpenes, effectiveness of which in hair regrowth is often compared with minoxidil, a commonly prescribed vasodilator in the treatment of hair loss.

 

ROSEMARY ESSENTIAL OIL

Many recent studies show that rosemary essential oil directly helps to regrow lost hair and to increase hair growth in patients suffering from chronic hair loss. LAVENDER ESSENTIAL OIL

Lavender essential oil is well known for its restorative properties. Lavender oil dramatically accelerates hair growth and helps to condition and nourish hair strands, so they grow thick and healthy. According to a 2016 study performed on mice, lavender oil promotes hair growth resulting in thicker and darker hairs. Additionally, it offers antibacterial properties that protect hair against infections and itching. It also has anti-inflammatory effect helping to reduce irritation and inflammation of hair follicles.

Before you start using this bar, store it in a cool dry place out of direct light.

Wet your hair and create foamy lather by rubbing the bar wet between your hands. Massage sections of your hair carefully with the foam. Rinse thoroughly.

Keep dry between uses (place on a draining soap dish after every use). Discontinue use if any skin irritation occurs.

One shampoo bar is equivalent to three 12 oz bottles of liquid shampoo.
